While up in Michigan over the 4th visiting my family we were able to see a very nice fireworks display. Here are some of my better shots from the evening. This was my first time shooting fireworks and I had no idea what to expect. I took some from the field then I went over to the corndog stand and took some more with the stand in the foreground. The cars you see were from the car show earlier in the day... some very nice cars came out.
So I was just up in Michigan visiting family over the 4th and on the way home off the side of the IL interstate was Herbie! I had to drive to the next exit, turn around and drive back a couple miles then pull off the highway to see him. Oh but that is not all! I also had to walk through very tall grass/weeds that I was certain contained snakes... but being the photographer I am :) I did it anyway! I hope you enjoy these images. I will post my 4th of July images soon, I got some nice firework shots.
I know it's been almost a month since I've last posted... it's been a BUSY month! But, I have been on a trip, took a ton of images and I am working on them now. I will very shortly be putting up more images so stay tuned!
I took this image while I was in Washington DC this past April. It's one of those images that I almost passed by but my 'lovely' husband who is great seeing what I miss caught it. Husbands are good for something, right?! :)
Here are photographs I took with two little adorable pugs, Tricksy and Shadow. They were very lively and loved every minute of it. Take a look below...
I was a featured artist today over at STLHandmade. It's an honor to have my work showcased on other websites and it's really cool to be included with the local craft scene. To view my feature just follow this link.
Totally Rad Actions is a lifesaver for me, I use it for a lot of my photoshop work. I became aware of them while following a wedding photographer's blog and she always talked highly of them. They have a sample recipe page which showcases ideas and I just happened to stumble on one of my images being used! That is just totally rad! :)
